Aoife McCann aka Æ MAK has already grabbed the attention of those at home and abroad with her energetic live shows and wholly distinct vocals.
The Art Pop Chanteuse has already impressed with genre transcending singles like Glow and I Walk, but 2018 sees Aoife take a new journey and join forces with Æ MAK producer Lulla Hush aka Daniel McIntyre to share their refreshingly unique artistic vision.
Now they’re back with a new single released last week titled ‘Love Flush’.
“It’s about choosing your own ambitions over a true love, pushing that someone away to embrace this higher vision you have of yourself, even though that’s what made you happy. Ego’s a bitch.” – Æ MAK
Æ MAK’s hypnotic electronic soundscapes alongside an always present punk-esque energy makes for a captivating live performance and unique artist indeed, allowing audiences to escape to another realm through their music and Aoife’s resonant and distinct vocals.
2017 saw the band bring their bewitching live performances to audiences at some of Ireland’s most exciting festivals, including
Body & Soul, Electric Picnic, Other Voices, Another Love Story and Hard Working Class Heroes as well as headline shows throughout the country and support slots for massive names like Warpaint and more.
Æ MAK play All Together Now this August bank holiday weekend and Electric Picnic taking place from August 31 to September 2.
