Biig Piig’s coming home, she’s coming home…

London-based, Ireland-born vocalist and rapper Biig Piig is on one of the fastest rising names in alternative music. Co-signs from Julie Adenuga, Annie Mac and Dazed & Confused, racking up millions of views on Youtube and being part of one of the most eclectic and forward-thinking groups in London, Nine8 Collective, it’s been a good couple of years for the versatile artist.

We’re happy to announce that at the launch of District Issue 005: Roots in The Sugar Club on October 19, in association with Metropolis Festival, Biig Piig will be performing a homecoming show after a packed out set at All Together Now and a feature District Issue 004.

Support on the night comes from Kean Kavanagh and his band which features Wastefellow and members of Five To Two. Bobofunk and Soft Boy DJs will take us into the wee hours and there’ll be panel discussions from 7pm-8.30pm.

Tickets available here and includes a copy of Issue 005 which features interviews and shoots with the likes of Joji, Lil B, Roisin Murphy, slowthai, Gemma Dunleavy, Reggie Watts, Cuco, Joshua Gordon, Ice Age, Evvol, Finn Bálor, Shookrah, Happa, Traphouse Tattoo & Greentea Peng.
