A self-described “fast paced house track”.


There has been a string of bands perking our ears up of late, rising high in the ranks of our favourite Irish artists, and Cooks But We’re Chefs are one of them. Like other District favourites Shookrah and Shy Mascot, they’re flirting with different genres, blending the worlds of jazz, funk, soul and hip hop/R&B.

Cooks But We’re Chefs are an eight-piece ensemble that for two years performed at the likes of Body&Soul, Trinity Ball and various venues around Dublin. However, the group only shared their debut release last month.

They’ve now dropped their second outing, ‘Tough Frank’, described as a “fast paced house track”.
