Only a couple of weeks ago Crybaby shared his a new single under the moniker, and it seems the floodgates are now well and truly open.
‘WKNDS’ caught our attention blending trap kicks and hi hats, moody lyrics and guitar strings. This type of music is prevalent in Ireland at the moment with artists like Nonzus Magnus, Henry Earnest, Jake Hurley and more using melancholy or indie lyricism with hip hop-driven production.
He’s linked up with Hdhdd for a new video for the track.
“The aim of this project from the start was to remain anonymous,” Crybaby says. “I’ve always uploaded music from myself onto Soundcloud under my real name and found I was getting a biased opinion because naturally some people like you and others don’t.
“Lyrically I like how I can express myself now as people aren’t judging me personally for some of the topics I talk about.”
The producer and vocalist has also shared visuals for ‘LOVE SONGS’.
