“I named my tape ‘Darkland’ ’cause when I close my eyes, that’s where my music brings me.”

Constant is a young Dublin rapper who grew up on Michael Jackson, 90s hip hop and early 2000s R&B.

His most recent project ‘Darkland’ is an auto-tuned trap journey, and according to the rapper he’s finally discovered his direction.

“When I started making music in my room, I didn’t know which way I wanted to go. I was inspired by so many different things, but I feel I’ve finally found the perfect mix.

“I named my tape ‘Darkland’ ’cause when I close my eyes, that’s where my music brings me. But the cover is the complete opposite of a “dark land” ’cause I’m not a dark person at all. I’m bright, I try to have a very positive outlook on everything.”

For now you can listen to the new mixtape below, but Constant promises there’s more music on the horizon, with another project set to drop in February featuring Atlanta rapper Hendricks.
