Your route home after a night out over Christmas is sorted.

It has been announced that on the first day of December the capital’s very first 24 hour bus service will become operational. The number 41 route that runs between swords and the city centre is the first to be trialed, following the success of a similar initiative in Cork.

For those working late nights or even just for a way of getting home after a night out this is massive news. The new service will stop right outside Jam Park and will go to the airport too.

Both the 41 (Lower Abbey Street towards Swords Manor including a stop at Dublin Airport) and 15 (Clongriffin towards Ballycullen Road) routes will avail of new longer service hours.

Here’s hoping the trial is successful and is rolled out across a number of routes.
