Mark O’Brien has just released music under new moniker Royal Yellow. Drawing influences from 1960s country, folk, soul, jazz and old film scores, he’s “consciously blurring the lines between indie songwriter and hip-hop producer”.

You may have seen Mark before as the bass player and frontman for Wicklow band Enemies, but this new direction leaves behind his guitar-led days for a moment to focus on something a little more experimental.

Royal Yellow will perform alongside a live band at Another Love Story 2018. Check out the new track below, mixed by Bantum.
