After only really starting music around three months ago, Wicklow artist Invader Slim has unleashed his debut video on the world. Although this is his first release, the rapper has been a fan of hip hop since childhood.

“I went through all the boom bap and Odd Future fanboy phases but for the past couple years I’ve just been seriously into underground trap, all the emerging talent out of Soundcloud, just too many to name really, as well all the Sadboys, drain gang shit like Yung Lean, Bladee, Thaiboy Digital and all.

“For the next 12 months I’m gonna keep working and churning out tunes, maybe a mixtape soon enough. Send my shit out to whoever I can, try gain some attention, build momentum, hopefully with some more top class visuals. Gonna try link up with homegrown producers who fuck with me as well, I already have my boy Rolliedonediddit…”
