The visual that premiered on i-D is chaotic in all the right ways.
The video, directed by Little Green Cars member Adam O’Regan, begins with a POV shot of the rapper vomiting on the sidewalk, followed by him and Luka, the guest verse on the track, scrambling into a taxi.
From the colorful neon confines of the car, Kojaque and Luka rap about the problems that plague Dublin, touching on recurring themes in the Kojaque’s recently released Deli Daydream record.
The jolting opening, shaky camerawork, and flashing lights all create the same uneasy, troubled feel that the lyrics convey.
Despite this, the video has a lighthearted nature and seamlessly weaves in a sense of humor.
