Taproot Art have been busy over the past few months, organising exhibitions in aid of things like homelessness and the fight to repeal the Eighth Amendment.

They’ve just announced a new group exhibition entitled ‘REDNESSNESS’. It will feature new work from artists as diverse as

Katarina Janeckova, Kathryn Rose, Peter Doyle, Jay Miriam (image above), Maser (image below), Mark Todd, Harriet Bruce, Rob Ickis Mirolo, Charlie Brand, Molly Rae, Blue Niall, Julie Weber, Aoife Moiselle, Giulia Canevari, Niamh Ni Bhroin, Sophie Murphy, Niamh Hannaford, Andrew Simpson, Cesca Saunders, Bob Fitzgerald, Rachel Clarke, Geoff Ryan, Decoy, Pan Cooke, Robyn Carey, Mariam Ahmed, Fintan O’Byrne, Sona Harrison, Steve McCarthy, Hazel Coonagh, Andrej Kapor and Fiachra O Suilleabhain.

“REDNESSNESS explores red as a property, and the visual output that is elicited by the property. Curated by Sophie Murphy, there will feature a number of works for sale by artists responding to this theme, as well as a series of wall and video installations, all too, corresponding to redness.”

The opening party takes place on Friday June 8 at The Copper House Gallery in Dublin at 6pm. It runs until June 14.
