“Hip hop in its essence is real; I’m still hearing every rhyme.”
Rapsody has become one of the most sought-after artists in hip hop in the last year or so.
The North Carolina rapper appeared on massive records like Kendrick Lamar’s ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’ and Anderson .Paak’s ‘Malibu’. She’s now embarking on a solo European tour on the back of her September album ‘Laila’s Wisdom’ which was a who’s-who for features. She recruited Busta Rhymes, BJ the Chicago Kid, as well as the two aforementioned rappers.
She plays The Workman’s Club on March 6 with special guest 9th Wonder. Tickets priced €22 go on sale this Thursday December 14.
