‘The Great Phatsby’ is an upcoming hour long episode of Matt Greoning’s 27 year running cartoon sitcom The Simpsons.

This will be the first time the show has ever done a double length episode and will be given a hip-hop theme based on Mr. Burns’ friendship with a character named ‘Jay G’ who is a powerful character in the hip-hop industry.

The episode will be inspired by ‘The Great Gatsby’ and narrated by Homer Simpson.

Jim Beanz will produce original songs for the lengthy episode and will work in a part 1/part 2 format.

The episode is set to air January.
