The Underachievers are heading to Europe, and the last stop on the tour is in Dublin’s fair city.
Flatbush, Brooklyn rappers The Underachievers released a new project back in May entitled ‘Renaissance’.
In an interview with Montreality, the pair admit they’re now staying true to themselves.
“It’s our fourth year, period, making music. Period,” said Issa. “We might have joked around prior, but really, starting to make music… you get strayed away sometimes, like this guy’s doing this and that might work, but [Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole and Chance The Rapper] keep me grounded, knowing that if I stay true to myself—and ScHoolboy Q told me the exact same thing years ago: stay true to yourself, because the game will adjust to you.”
They have now confirmed that they will stop off in Dublin as part of their European tour.
They’ll play The Academy Green Room on Saturday February 24. Tickets on sale this Friday September 29 at 10am.
