The Club will be hosting a 50 max capacity gig for the first time post lockdown.

The Workman’s Club has announced that it will be reopening on Friday August 14th. They will be hosting gigs with a maximum capacity of 50 people.

The Club’s announcement came after the government revealed that the Covid-19 restrictions would not be eased any further.

In an online statement, Workman’s said that accommodating 50 people in a 300 person venue “doesn’t make a lot of sense financially but we are very keen to help get our sound engineers, bar staff and most importantly musicians and performers back on the stage”.

In an effort to support artists and staff, the Workman’s Club will be putting on regular gigs in their downstairs stage area.
