Unfortunately UK rap group 67 have had to cancel their Dublin show next Friday December 15, but fear not, there’s a healthy line up of Irish hip hop coming instead… It’s free in if you have a 67 ticket and only €5 otherwise.
Next Friday, The Grand Social will play host to a selection of some the best hip hop artists in the country. We’re teaming up with Sense to for another edition of our Neighbourhood Watch party that’s only a fiver in.
Headlining the evening is a rapper that we’ve been trying to get play at one of our shows for a while now, Luka Palm. He burst into the consciousness of Irish hip hop fans with ‘Pink Lady‘ in 2015 and he’s become a favourite at District HQ since.
We’ve also got District Recordings crew collective NUXSENSE bringing their trademark energy to the party, two of the best voices from Lemon Pie RecordsAggy Aoi & Baz Manson, plus our favourite newcomers DonKobz and Alfie South.
Kicking things off at 7pm we have one of Ireland’s most talented young producers, Marcus Woods, spinning tunes, followed by Sick Nanley, one of the most promising MCs knocking around, performing live too.
