Last year International Literature Festival Dublin collaborated with District Magazine to host a truly special event in Dublin’s most famous historical building.
Some of the country’s brightest spoken word talents took the mic in the Main Postal Hall of the GPO, leading to laughs, tears and goosebumps.
Our first and constant music love is hip hop, so this time New Voices is evolving. On Friday May 17 we’ll once again take over the fabled halls of the GPO, this time incorporating live hip hop from some of the country’s rap luminaries.
As always with the ILFD and District collab New Voices, the event offers a unique chance to celebrate our city’s rich literary history, while looking firmly to the future, and will be the curtain-raiser for this year’s festival.
Artists performing live include Nealo, Leo Miyagee and Dena Anuk$a, plus spoken word from Amshwa, Sea High and some very special surprise guests.
Tickets on sale Monday April 8 and are VERY limited. Each ticket gives you complimentary drinks, kindly be provided by Porterhouse Brewing Company.
The event is presented in association with An Post and An Post AddressPal, it’s 18+ and the venue is wheelchair accessible. Click here for more.
