“This video is the end. We have plans now, earthly pleasures. Something you can hold, something you can touch, steal, insert, digest, hate, burn and enjoy.”

Spudgun have made contact once again. The Dublin-based, extra-terrestrial group have transmitted a new video to our inbox and have allowed us to share it with Earth for the first time.

“This video is the end. We have plans now, earthly pleasures. Something you can hold, something you can touch, steal, insert, digest, hate, burn and enjoy. Yet again, we are FULL of gratitude. We have had the opportunity to work with kind, talented and patient humans on this latest transmission: the Producer/Engineer: Des Garvey, the film-makers: Eoin Mulligan, Katie Freeney and Brendan Corogoran and the unfading stars: Tom Rosengrave and Cilllian Byrne.

“As we’ve been trapped between Earth and Space and occasionally ‘in and out of treatment’, transmission has been difficult. We can only promise to be at The Abattoir on February 24 where we will play alongside Dowry – Ena Brennan. She brings the violin to many of our imaginings, including Someone’s Birthday. Her Dowry set is certain to bring new life to the discontinued slaughterhouse of 22 Montague Lane, Dublin 2. There, our freshest musical wounds will be exposed for all to hear and our hearts will hang dripping with the cognitive fluid of our most recent misadventure.”
