The first name confirmed to perform at the launch party of District Magazine Issue 002 in The Tara Building on Thursday May 11 was Wastefellow. We’re now happy to announce that AikJ will be joining in on the fun.

The Irish R&B singer came to our attention last year with his debut single ‘Suite Life‘. Recently he’s been busy working with the guys from Diffusion Lab, producing ‘Hidden Agenda’ in March.

Talking to us about that release, Aik revealed: “I wanted to bring old school r&b back, the way it was written and all that… It was very simple but effective and it was done like a conversation instead of being so vulgar about things. I’m telling a story, ‘Hidden Agenda’ is the answer to a misconception of conversations I’ve experienced.”

We’re really excited to have Aik’s smooth vocal talent in the building this Thursday.
