All Together Now announce Fontaines D.C. for exclusive Irish festival date

Last year the foundations were laid for what’s going to be one of the best festivals Ireland has ever experienced.

All Together Now return for their second chapter in Curraghmore House on August 2-4. They return with music, spoken word, comedy, theatre, debate, art, workshops and food, and although it’s a celebration, this year’s edition will also be a commemoration.

“Setting off on this journey, we endeavoured to embrace the landscape’s beauty, to honour the past but also to collaborate and create a new future. Following the sad and sudden loss of John Reynolds, the founder of POD, the whole team look forward to realising the vision and dedication, which over the last three decades changed the Irish cultural landscape. In this year’s festival programme, John proclaimed himself as ‘the so-called captain of the best team in the world’.

“There is a piece of us all in All Together Now. Now, it is time to look forward. To collaborate, curate and create the next chapter.”

Before Christmas they announced that GRAMMY award-winning band The National will be their first headliner.

Now they’ve confirmed that Fontaines D.C. will play only one Irish festival show in 2019, and it’s going to be at ATN.

The Dublin band announced today that their debut album ‘Dogrel’ is due out April 12 via Partisan Records. They also shared a new video for ‘Big’, directed by Molly Keane.
