Attention DJs: Here How To Win €2,500 And A Slot At Beyond The Pale

Cupra’s On The Pulse competition is returning for 2025. One of the finest opportunities in the country for up-and-coming DJs, the selector with the finest mix is set to win a substantial cash prize and join Ireland’s festival circuit. You can submit your entry here.

We are seeing a new era of Irish electronic music. The passion for the genre has been revitalised and we’re seeing that be actualised in Dublin’s nightlife. The likes of Index expanding and Irish electronic artists such as Kettama and BICEP dominating soundwaves exemplify a new generation of truly passionate listeners. This isn’t to say that Irish nightlife is in an ideal place. We are still in an uphill battle against legislation and mainstream acceptance of the night economy.

Cupra hopes to find the DJs to lead the future of the Irish electronic scene. Building on the quality of talent from last year’s foray platforming exceedingly good curation, Cupra are looking for selectors of any discipline or sound to show the best they have through a unique 30-minute mix.

A panel of experts, taken from the forefront of Irish nightlife, will select their favourite submissions for a final performance where DJs will go head to head in front of a live crowd. The winner will then work with Cupra, alongside a cash development fund of €2,500, on a prime slot at Beyond The Pale on 13-15 June. The competition will run until 6 April and then five finalists will be selected to perform at a final event in May. Submit your entry here.
