Belfast’s Leo Miyagee drops new EP ‘Inner City Blues’

One of the country’s hardest working MCs is back with another project.

Having released ‘FFDLC’ to a hugely positive reception earlier in the year, there wasn’t the expectation that Leo would release another project before 2019 bows out. However, never one to rest on his laurels the spitter has beefed up his discography with the snappy ‘Inner City Blues’.

Noting the importance of work rate and longevity  throughout Miyagee’s latest effort contains an east coast influence present in much of his other work.

Keen to build on this year’s progress the Banjaxed Records rapper said, “People told me that when they listened to bluebird and FFDLC they got lost in ‘their own wee world’, so I just wanted to expand on those sort of world building techniques from the latter while showing off some new wrinkles and adding more depth to my impressionist MC vibe I’ve been on.”

Closing out the year on a high, Leo is quickly solidifying his place as one of Ireland’s most prolific hip hop artists.
