Björk is first up on Red Bull Music Academy’s new podcast series ‘Couch Wisdom’

“The Icelandic iconoclast gives us a meditation on her homeland, the importance of family and a remarkable career guided by her musical intuition.”

‘Couch Wisdom’ is a new series by Red Bull Music, available every Monday. Upcoming episodes include Young Thug engineer Alex Tumay, Iggy Pop, Kaytranada and Inuk throat singer Tanya Tagaq.

“The Icelandic iconoclast gives us a meditation on her homeland, the importance of family and a remarkable career guided by her musical intuition.

“In her 2016 lecture at the Red Bull Music Academy Montréal, she offers thoughts on her long and multifaceted career, how intuition drives her recordings and DJ sets, and what utopia means to her.”
