Chaka Khan releases new video & announces first album in 11 years
The legendary artist plays All Together Now, August 3-5.
Multiple Grammy Award-winner Chaka Khan has just shared what’s in contention for funkiest video of the year. After dropping ‘Like Sugar’ last week, she’s now released visuals for the track.
She’s linked up with Major Lazer founder and Grammy-nominated producer and labelhead Switch for the release. It’s taken from her forthcoming LP, her first since 2007’s ‘Funk This’. It’s set to be the debut release on Switch’s new imprint.
“Not only does it represent a scintillating collaboration between two leading talents, but it’s also a statement of intent as the first release from Switch’s new label imprint Diary Records.”
