Cork producer Blakkheart shares new track
Blakkheart is a multi-genre music producer from Cork who “draws inspiration from neon graphic novels and Noir movies.”
According to the beatmaker and instrumentalist she treats her musical projects like movies or comics.
“All are set to a story (a murder mystery, a gothic fairytale), featuring characters through which the beat is told, the narrative shifting between characters, these changes reflected in the music.”
Her latest track ‘One Hot Afternoon in Texas’ incorporates elements of 90s R&B, with “Southern-infused hip hop” tinges.
