Cork’s young Kabin Crew release video for ‘Ya Boy’

The group from Cork’s north side have dropped their debut music video with visuals from Brendan Canty.

Cork’s Kabin Crew may be young, but don’t let their age fool you. The talented hip hop outfit have honed their craft at Kabin Studio’s weekly work shop in Cork for the past few years and they recently made waves with a live performance of the song ‘Ya Boy’. Rapping the track outside the Everyman Theatre in Cork it quickly went viral online after being captured on camera.

Subsequently the young artists made appearances in ‘The Young Offenders’ and the short film ‘Christy’ as well The Late Late Toy Show.

Now MC Tiny, Jamie The King, and Michael and the rest of the crew have teamed up with Brendan Canty to bring the song to life. Canty was responsible for the incredible video for Hozier’s ‘Take Me To Church’ and he’s captured the Kabin Crew in their estate as they grab some ice cream and move through fields on bikes. Their promotional shots were also taken by Christian Tierney, who has featured as Niall Horan’s tour photographer. The video is the perfect cure for a dreary Monday.
