This weekend’s stand out event comes in the form of Dave East’s debut Irish show in Voodoo lounge. Also featuring on this week’s guide is a show from Lawriii Craic and an art exhibition for a good cause.
Norwegian producer of all things electronic, Skatebård will be descending on Pygmalion this Friday. Jumping from emotive techno to neo-italo and everything in between, he’ll be joined by Adult Store & BUA Dublin on support.

Epoch Dublin present: Riso City Returns – art exhibition for ICHH – Lucky’s 18.00 – 01.00
Epoch are bringing the second instalment of their socially charged art exhibition.
They’ve got more original artwork in the form of the glorious Risograph Print. This time they have invited 5 guest artists to feature along side them, to display and sell a print for charity.
The exhibition aims to highlight the startling statistics surrounding homelessness in Ireland. Each Print is based upon a chosen statistic/fact regarding homelessness in Ireland, as illustrated by the artist. All profits from sales will go to Inner City Helping Homelessness.

Johnny Climax Presents:’IM FINE’ Movie and Live show – The Lighthouse – 21.00 – 01.30
Johnny Climax has teamed up with an all-star roster of acts to premier his cinematic music video on 30 November 2019 at the Lighthouse in Dublin.
Combining music from a UK DMC finalist, private film screening and live performances from a number of artists, it promises to be a big night.
Artists featuring include: Mula Monêt, Skripteh, Co The Artist, Jonny Climax, DJ Trix and more TBA.

Goblin Skate Mag Launch Issue 2 in Hen’s Teeth this Saturday 17.00-21.00! The After-Party which is included in the entry fee to the exhibition will take place in Wigwam from 22.00 with visuals from Kurb Junki.

Hailing from Harlem, New York, Dave East is landing on Irish shores this Sunday for his Irish debut. First gaining attention with his 2014 mixtape ‘Black Rose’ his status has steadily rose as one of the East coast’s most lyrical artists.
An XXL Freshman pick in 2016, he brings his ‘Survival Tour’ to Voodoo lounge this Sunday off the back of his 2019 album ‘Survival’ that was executive produced by Nas and featured the likes of DJ Premier and Rick Ross.
