F. Festival announce full schedule for 2017

F. Festival is back for its 2017 edition, taking place across Dublin venues like Wig Wam, Sin E, The George, The Mercantile, The Back Loft and more.

In 2016 the female fronted festival debuted across many similar venues that will again host the various showcases this year, from art, comedy, film, music, spoken word and talks.

“Inequality has been embedded in our lives, and only for the worse. From an early age we are brainwashed and for the best part, involuntary. Which has led to is being a norm in our lives.
Not to excuse what’s happening but, to find out why it is all too natural to us, why we can be blind to it, but most importantly, how can we change it. And so, the fight for a true state of equality began.”

Events and artists set to play this year include Vernon Jane, KEVYN, Pillow Queens, Eve DJs, Maggie, Colin Devine (tribute to women set), Liquid lead show & demo hosted by Trevor Copp and Jeff Fox (TED talks), comedy and spoken word hosted by Republic of Telly’s Joanne Mc Nally.

There will also be workshops like same-sex dance events hosted by Tottering Biped, Pole classes, music lessons and more.

In addition, F.Festival are also looking for you to help aid the festival and contribute to the Fund It campaign. Click here for all the information on that.
