Frank Ocean producer to play private manor with an Irish hip hop showcase

In case you haven’t heard, we’re throwing our third birthday shindig this April 14 – Good Friday. It’s a BYOB house party in a mansion on the Dublin coastline, and we’ve got a some special surprises in store. Click here to grab your tickets.

Even if you haven’t heard of Vegyn, chances are that you’ve heard his work, via one of last year’s biggest albums, Frank Ocean’s ‘Blonde’, and its preceding project ‘Endless’.

Aside from writing and arranging ‘Nights’, one of the highlights from the album, he also worked on ‘Close to You’ as well as almost a third of the tracks on Endless, Frank’s visual album that dropped before Blonde did.

We’re proud to say that Vegyn will make his Irish performance debut in the manor with us. Click here to find out more about the talented producer.

Also performing on the night will be one of our favourite MCs in Ireland, Kojaque.

He’ll perform live and afterwards he’ll be bringing along some Soft Boy Records label DJs with him for an extended set.

JyellowL will be performing spoken word and live hip hop for revellers, and Louth rapper Steo Skitz will also be taking to the mic.

Staxx Lyrical will bring her vast knowledge of hip hop for a two hour DJ set, while ex-Animator and RTE 2XM head honcho MathMan will be treating us to a rare garage set.

Our District Family has grown large over the past few years, and we welcome some of our favourite resident DJs Bobofunk, 2FM presenter and DJ Tara Stewart, James Kenny, Jus Damien and Jamie Mann to the manor too.

Also, after hip hop night Hussle had their reunion at our New Year’s Eve party, we couldn’t help getting the crew back together again. Their parties were a mainstay in Dublin’s hip hop scene when they were in full swing, and now they’re back to cause more trouble.

We partnered up with H&G Creations for the NYE party, and this time they’ll be installing an awe-inspiring art piece in the manor.

There’ll also be independent food vendors, and of course it’s BYOB on the one night each year where all the pubs, clubs and bars are closed.

Click here to grab your tickets, because like New Year’s Eve, it’s going to sell out in advance.
