Freddie Gibbs escapes to Jamaica in new video for ‘Scottie Beam’
It features Rick Ross and comes from his new collaborative album ‘Alfredo’ with The Alchemist.
The Alchemist and Freddie Gibbs pairing on ‘Alfredo’ is a match made in heaven. The twinkling production and gritty vocal delivery results in premium street rap.
Being touted as one of the hip hop albums of the year, ‘Alfredo’ is reasserting a rapidly developing opinion that The Alchemist is arguably in his strongest form in years, with recent collaborations with Boldy James and Benny The Butcher under his belt and not to mention his work on Meg Thee Stallion’s ‘Savage’.
Following the video for ‘1985’ the pair have teamed up again alongside a feature from Florida’s Rick Ross on new visuals for ‘Scottie Beam’. The video sees Gibbs shoot a police officer that was on his tail and subsequently he heeds advice from Ross and flees to Jamaica.
