George Clinton & Parliament-Funkadelic to play headline Dublin show

The funk is coming back to Dublin in May.

Back in August the legendary George Clinton confirmed he was joining forces with one of the best (and consistently bizarre) modern labels around, Brainfeeder.

In an interview Clinton said the album will come out at some stage in 2017 on Flying Lotus’ imprint, which the label boss himself later confirmed on Twitter.

While there’s still no sign of that record, there is some good news. George Clinton returns to Dublin to play Vicar Street on May 16 with Parliament and Funkadelic, his first headline show in the city since 2009.

Doors at 7:30pm. Tickets €39.50 standing/€45.50 seated and go on sale at 9am on Tuesday March 21 from usual outlets.
