Government delays return of Indoor hospitality

Words: Dylan Murphy

The cabinet has come to an agreement that the return of indoor hospitality will be put on hold while they develop a system that verifies if people have been fully vaccinated.

In the early hours of Tuesday morning, the Cabinet discussed drafting an “implementation plan” for the return of indoor hospitality, for those who are fully vaccinated, by July 19.

Now, they’ve come to an agreement that would see the reopening of indoor hospitality delayed as they try to develop a plan to allow fully vaccinated people to eat and drink indoors. The intention is to have this plan ready by July 19.

More updates as they happen.
