Jamie XX shares first solo track in five years ‘Idontknow’
The British producer has dropped his first solo track since 2015.
It’s been a while since Jamie XX released solo work, but today he has returned with a new cut in the shape of ‘Idontknow’.
Having recently featured on Headie One’s new surprise album ‘Gang’ with the track ‘Smoke’ and had unreleased music teased on Caribou’s recent Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1, there was speculation he was due to drop new music.
The time has come and the eclectic producer has shared ‘Idontknow’ via Young Turks. Featuring orbital synths, pulsing vocals and pumping percussion it marks an explosive return.
