Kojaque reflects on insecurities in ‘Casio’

Words: Dylan Murphy

The Soft Boy Records co-founder has one more single in the bag ahead of his debut album next week.

You can be pretty much certain if Soft Boy Records drop a single, a considered video will land shortly after.

With just over a week until Kojaque shares his debut album Town’s Dead, the Dublin rapper has shared a monochrome offering that maintains his visual approach that has an allergy to anything unambitious.

Featuring Maverick Sabre, it sees Kojaque reflect on his early insecurities as a rapper from Ireland with the benefit of hindsight.

“I used to think that I couldn’t rap with an accent, Did my best tryna mask it Had my hope in a casket” he raps.

The video comes after the release of ‘Shmelly’, ‘Coming Up’, No Hands’ and the album’s title track ‘Town’s Dead’.

Town’s Dead drops June 25.
