Leo Miyagee shares ‘Trust God, Love Yours, Do Bits In Life’ on District Recordings

Leo Miyagee debuted the new material at the launch of Issue 003 last night, and the Belfast-based Londoner was a sight to behold on stage.

We premiered the video for ‘W.O.R.D‘ earlier this month, then ‘IDGAF’ got a first listen on Nialler9.

Now ‘Trust God, Love Yours, Do Bits In Life’ is live in full.

According to him the narrative of the new EP is a diary of his own personal and spiritual growth during a time where he was obsessed over “who I am, where I’m from, who I want to be, as well as embracing my own roots and heritage in addition to the cultures I was raised and now live in”.

“Ultimately it deals heavily with my belief in God which has always been there and how it helped me through this existential crisis. The purpose of this whole thing was to show people it’s okay to sometimes feel discomfort and negative emotions and that they need tackle these emotions in a positive and productive way.”
