Listen to TLC’s first album in 15 years

Today the legendary TLC have dropped their 5th and final album, following on from the announcement that they’ll play their first ever Irish show.

Today TLC are T-Boz and Chilli, Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes passed away in a tragic accident back in 2002 and the girls have never wanted to replace her, simply because she is irreplaceable.

The only feature on their new 11-track record comes from Snoop Dogg on the single ‘Way Back’. However, thousands of people in a way made this record happen through a Kickstarter campaign. They decided to ask the fans to contribute to a fund so they could get back into the studio to record because they’re no longer with a major label. They ended up raising four times the amount they’d asked for, Katy Perry herself donated $5,000. Which brings us to today to the very last record we will hear from TLC (so they say for now).

Listen to the album below.

They headline Metropolis Festival on the October Bank Holiday Weekend Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 for their first ever Irish show. Tickets went on sale today and Tier 1 weekend tickets already sold out, Tier 2 now on sale. Tickets available here.
