Logic set a new record after spending $226,000 on Rare Pokémon Card

Currently, the retired rapper’s purchase is the highest known sale of a Nintendo collectable.

After the release of his album ‘No Pressure’ and announcement of his retirement, Maryland rapper Logic has been spending time streaming on Twitch and interacting with fans on social media.

Over the weekend Logic set a new record with a bid of $226,000 on a rare Charizard card. Currently, it is the highest known amount spent on not only a Pokémon card but any Nintendo collectable.

Logic opens a $23,000 Pokémon base set box.

Logic also purchased a Pokémon base set box for $23,000 and shared a video on Instagram of him opening the packs.

It follows news of the retired rapper’s new deal with Twitch where he is streaming various content.
