M.I.A hints new music dropping on Friday

“New decade, new M.I.A.”

It’s been nearly four years since M.I.A’s last project ‘AIM’. However the eclectic artist has teased new music due to drop Friday 31 January.

In an instagram post uploaded yesterday the singer shared short, psychedelic visuals accompanied with part of what appears to be a new song she will release this week.

It comes after comments in 2018 that she may “quit” music after becoming disillusioned by censorship. Hopefully there’s a new full length piece in the works.
