Marcus Woods debuts lead single from forthcoming experimental album

Marcus Woods will release his new album ‘demo’ via District Recordings on October 19.

“I feel I’ve entered a completely new phase of sound in comparison to the older material and I want to stick with this,” the young Clondalkin producer explains to us. “The next dozen tracks you’re about to hear are from the last nine to 12 months of my production. It’s the first body of music I can truly say I’m 100 per cent proud of and am excited to not just release, but to share.”

Marcus released a teaser track called ‘opaque‘ from ‘demo’ a few weeks ago with the cryptic statement: “It will all make sense in October”.

‘demo’ will follow up ‘shibui‘, a tape he released back in May inspired by Japanese jazz musician Yuji Ohno.
