Nas confirms he’ll be releasing a new album this year

The 11th album from  the New York legend is set to drop in 2017.

When asked in a recent interview with Billboard, ‘Can fans expect this album before the year is over?’, the answer from Nas was short and sweet. ‘For sure.’

His last LP ‘Life Is Good’ is now five years old, leaving fans of the rap trailblazer hungry for more.

In the same interview Nas discusses whether he’ll drop the entire album at once, “We might do a single but we might do something different.” He continues, “It’s a different world now so you want to put out records fresh from to your head to the world now and get the feedback from the people and make it whole.”
