Word: Dylan Murphy

With the endless onslaught of new music every Friday it’s hard to keep up with all the new releases. We’ve curated the essential new albums and projects out today for you to check out.

Danger Mouse, Black Thought – Cheat Codes

Having worked with acts ranging from MF DOOM to Adele U2 and Gorillaz, Danger Mouse aka Brian Burton is one of music’s most respected producers. Likewise, Black Thought, co-founder of The Roots needs little introduction and together they’ve put together something special.

God Knows – We Move the Needle

After performances at Glastonbury and a flurry of European slots, Narolane Records‘ co-founder God Knows is back with four track EP that showcases one of the country’s most exciting forces in top form.

Haich Ber Na – When We Knew Less

Mixing elements of pop, indie, psychedelic and anything else that takes his fancy, Haich Ber Na has shared one of the projects of the summer in When We Knew Less. A nice little bit of trivia too; the EP cover and visualiser for focus track ‘Knew You Better’ features close friend Warwick Davis.
