Nnic is cementing her place as one of Ireland’s most exciting artists with ‘Grow’

“‘Grow’ is about progressing through the light and dark moments in life.”

A couple of months ago we had the pleasure of welcoming Nnic into the studio for a conversation about being a classically trained vocalist, her work in the fashion world, her track ‘Pillars’ (that’s hit over 500,000 plays on Spotify) and she talks working with some of the most talented names in Irish music.

She’s now returned with her best outing yet, accompanied by a video that feels more like an artist who’s been releasing music for a decade rather than a newcomer.

Over at the premiere with Nialler, Nnic says the track is about progressing through the light and dark moments in life.

“The irony stands in the process of making the track as it took five versions of the song for it to feel fully complete!”

On Thursday May 30 Nnic plays her first official headline show Upstairs At Whelan’s. Check out the new video below, directed by Rosie Barrett with D.O.P and editing by Albert Hooi.
