Ireland’s Edge is Ireland’s foremost platform for critical discussion on the pressing issues of our time. In 2019 it returned to Other Voices in Dingle to discuss issues varying from mass migration, the digital revolution and the climate emergency to Ireland’s place in Europe.
Micheal Keegan Dolan is the founder and Artistic Director of Fabulous Beast Dance Theatre and Cormac Begley is a bass, baritone and piccolo concertina player. As two artistic innovators in Ireland they came together to talk about the arts and culture in Ireland through the lens of their experiences.
The preview of Michael’s MÁM performance in West Kerry before the premiere at Dublin’s Theatre Festival in September was one of the most exciting performance pieces of 2019.
