Outsider Yp & Jay Ronic share new video for ‘STAMPEDE’
Ahead of Outsiders Festival in March, the pair share new visuals.
Outsider YP has proved himself as one of the most diverse artists in Ireland since coming onto the hip hop scene. The Cork artist showed his downbeat trap and lyrical side on ‘Saddest Day‘ in 2017, and dropping his ‘Sadboy Ultra‘ project the following year which featured Afrobeats and R&B tracks.
Now he’s showing he can incorporate some aggression into his sound, and he’s recruited the equally versatile Jay Ronic.
It’s bound to draw comparisons to Death Grips, Cities Aviv and ZillaKami, and the beat is more than a nod to Ski Mask The Slump God and XXXTentacion’s ‘Take a Step Back‘, but nobody else is releasing music like this in Ireland. It’s raw, gritty, mosh-pit inducing madness. And we absolutely love it.
