Overmono Announce Dublin Headliner

Words: Dylan Murphy

The electronic duo head to Vicar St as part of their biggest live tour to date.

Last Friday, (12 May), Overmono shared their debut album Good Lies through XL Recordings and today they’re following up the release with news of their biggest live tour so far. The duo kick off the world tour in the States on September 15 before landing in Dublin for a show in Vicar St on Friday 6 October. It comes after Irish dates this summer at AVA Festival and All Together now.

Earlier this year, Overmono toured across Australia and the United States, including a show at Coachella. Elsewhere the pair also appeared as special guests for The Chemical brothers in Santa Barbara before heading back to the UK in time to release their debut album.

Overmono have built a reputation as one of the UK’s most formidable live electronic acts. Having played a huge number of memorable shows and scooping the DJ Mag Best of British ‘Best Live Act’ award, they coupled the success of their shows with a series of EPs between 2020 and 2022 and a breakout single in ‘So U Kno’.
