Rejjie Snow recruits Joey Bada$$ & Jesse Boykins III for a new track
A key moment in the Dubliner’s career.
A couple of weeks ago Rejjie Snow released a new video showing him joyride around Dublin in a new video for ‘Flexin’. It was in anticipation for his sold out homecoming show in The Academy the week after. It seems he’s firmly back stateside now though, with a new mixtape and album forthcoming.
In the premiere for ‘Crooked Cops’ on The Fader a while back, the Dubliner said there would be a Joey Bada$$ collaboration on the tape ‘The Moon & You’. He says: “I’d say it’s more of an art project, I’ve got like a short film to accompany it. Lots of poetry.”
That track has now arrived and it also features Brooklyn vocalist Jesse Boykins III. Listen to ‘Purple Tuesday’ below.
