RikShaw has built a reputation as a melodic crooner, having released his ‘Junk Food‘ EP earlier this year, he’s keeping his hot streak going into the end of the year.
His latest effort ‘Like That’ demonstrates his varied repertoire as an artist, combining vocal harmonies with his effortless flow.
The Coolock native, is perhaps a bit overlooked at times but he’s ensuring with the latest cut that he can’t be ignored.
On the song RikShaw said, “Our newest track ‘Like That’ kind of sees us break away from the melodies and delve more into the rapping side of things. We never really know what we’re going to come up with in the whole creative process it always really just happens on the spot. I think mixing the rapping and the melodies adds something different to our catalogue, maybe something that’s not really around right now. I think this track solidifies us as some of the most versatile unique sounding artists in the country right now. We’re always exploring and expanding our sound and will continue to do so in 2020”
Featuring production and mixing from Wongy, the pair have built a formidable relationship over the past few years and have given a sign of what is to come in the next decade.
