Rusangano Family are undoubtedly one of Irish hip hop’s most influential acts. Having won the RTÉ Choice Music Prize in March of 2017 they’ve left their mark on the genre’s history in Ireland with a stellar album.
God Knows of Rusangano Family dropped his debut solo single this year and MuRli has followed this with a vibrant new track ‘Illegible’. Featuring heavy percussion and confident delivery the MC notes his beneficial break from music. However now he is ready to get back to business as usual with the latest effort.
“It was good to just live life a bit without worrying about the pressure of delivering something to meet expectations all the time. That tunnel vision is kind of behind me now anyway so it feels healthy to make music again and just enjoy the process”.
