Santry just got a brand new (dog-friendly) coffee shop

Words: Emily Mullen

Coffee Run is nice and close to the Santry Sports Clinic

Santry just got a brand new coffee shop, that’s even dog friendly. Coffee Run opened on July 28th, off Northwood Avenue.

The coffee shop will be serving pastry and sambo options, alongside fresh coffees. The large space has plenty of room to sit indoors but will also be serving takeaway coffee and food options.

The team are also the only place in Dublin to stock Freezin Friesian ice cream which comes from a pedigree Friesian herd in Waterford. Coffee Run stocks four flavours of the ice cream, including bourbon vanilla, sea salt and caramel, brownie and honeycomb and lemon curd and meringue

Work on the unit started around the middle of May and involved a complete kit out of the empty space.

The name Coffee Run comes from the owner’s time as a 400-metre athlete. Speaking of the opening a representative from the cafe said “Thank you all for your kind words and messages of support, see you all soon”.

You can find Coffee Run in Santry’s Unit 1 Blackwood Court, Northwood Avenue, they are open Monday to Friday 7am – 5pm and Saturday to Sunday 9am – 4pm, follow them on Instagram for more information.
