Storefront announce collaborative pop up in Chicago

Words: Ellen Kenny

The Derry-based collective Storefront will make their way across the water for a special pop up.

Clothing brand Storefront have announced a new pop up in the USA on January 21 and January 22.

This pop up is a collaboration with Chicago-based high-end fashion brand Honoré and Chicago-based artist Austin AG. The pop up will take place at Honoré’s store on 1433 N. Milwaukee Avenue

There will be collaborative merch at the event as well as each brand’s own stock, along with Storefront’s staple vintage clothes and streetwear.

According to the clothing collective, this pop up is a long time coming, featuring an “interactive event with music, clothes and likeminded creatives under one roof”.

Storefront also recently announced their latest collection, the Storefront Mount Errigal Collection. Arriving this week, the clothes are inspired by Mount Errigal, the highest peak in Donegal and the most southern mountain of the “Seven Sisters” mountain range.

Storefront is an independent brand and physical store who “take great pride in being an Irish business and do so by designing, manufacturing and distributing all of our brand locally”. Storefront is the first of its kind in Northern Ireland to stock brands such as Palace, Stussy, Supreme, Carhartt and a range of sneakers including Jordans, Yeezys. Air Max & More.

They previously launched a boxing-themed collection in honour of Billy “Spider” Kelly, a Derry-born boxer.
