Suas Restaurant to be replaced with second Taza location

Words: Ellen Kenny

Suas Restaurant will close this week and be replaced with Taza this upcoming autumn.

The Dublin 5 restaurant announced on Instagram that they are closing their doors after 21 years of service. While the final closing date has not been decided, Suas said it will “be within the next week or so”.

Suas thanked their “fantastic and loyal” customers, as well as their staff. They described the closure as a “very tough decision”.

Suas opened in Raheny as The Watermill in June 2001. They launched their official food menu in 2003 and grew to be a firmly established Gastropub. They relaunched as Suas Restaurant in 2019 with a redesigned dining area.

Authentic Pakistani & Eastern Cuisine Restaurant Taza will replace Suas. This is Taza’s second location, their first being in Artane. Taza hope to open their Raheny location this autumn.
